Police Ready to Secure Demo at CIty Hall

Polda Metro Jaya will tightly oversee demonstration mass organization at City Hall, Friday (10/14). Predictably, there will 5,000 demonstrators. 

Surely it will lead to congestion. Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Directorate will conduct open-close system at Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur and Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, conditionally

"According to police chief instruction, our personnel will be a lot than demonstrator," expressed Sr. Comr. Awi Setiyono, Chief of Public Relation Section for Polda Metro Jaya, Friday (10/14).

According to him, the demonstrator will be gathered at the Istiqlal Mosque. After Friday prayers, they will be marched towards Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur or near Gambir Station, and headed to City Hall Building at Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan. Based on information gathered, the action will end up in Patung Kuda area.

"Surely it will lead to congestion. Polda Metro Jaya Traffic Directorate will conduct open-close system at Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur and Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, conditionally," he explained.

Hence, residents are urged to find another alternative lane. It is hoped they obey the rules and not to pass on the roads that used as demonstration.
